Love & Hope International Film Festival - Barcelona (L'HIFF) invites both emerging and established filmmakers, from all over the World to take part in film experience, based in the most glamorous location in Europe.

We offer you the opportunity to attend industry events, masterclasses, workshops, guest speaker talks, film premieres, financing advisers, director Q&A’s recorded, film screenings and network with like-minded creators.

5 days cinematic fest, providing an unique platform for filmmakers to meet, network and do business, supported by our diverse team of professionals. All CROWNED, with a fabulous Gala Night when the winners will be announced.

We have the right people and skills to make IT happen. We want to provide you with expertise and help your movie to be seen internationally.

Volunteers Applications Now Open for the 2025
Barcelona International Film Festival - L´HIFF

L’H International Film Festival (L'HIFF) relies on the dedication and enthusiasm of volunteers for a successful film festival season 17 to 21 September 2024. If you are a film lover, a film professional, interested in learning more about what it takes to put on the festival, want to network within the entertainment industry, or just want to lend a hand, then we really want you!.

All volunteers will receive tickets to screenings, an L'HIFF T-shirt, Hoodie, Credentials and much more, and the staff’s undying gratitude forever plus you are going to meet a bunch of international Filmmakers and that is important!

Volunteering has many benefits. As well as being a fantastic way to meet like-minded people, explore the city Barcelona, and experience the cinematic celebration that the Festival brings to Barcelona, it’s a wonderful opportunity to gain first-hand experience of how an event of this scale is managed and organized. The connections formed between volunteers (both on the job and afterwards, relaxing at the Festival venue) last far beyond each Festival, evolving into both social and professional circles in the Spanish arts scene and Internationally too.

Volunteer position descriptions (L'HIFF).

Crew Volunteers Application: (before, during & after the festival). We are seeking volunteers for our main crew that want to be more intricately involved with the production and execution of the festival with skill sets in writing, social skills, videography, photography, film editing, etc.

Social Media Manager Application: (before, during & after the festival). Social Media Manager: (before, during & after the festival) Planning, implementing, managing and monitoring L’HIFF's Social Media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, improve Marketing effort, during the Film Festival week 1 - 4 October 2025 The Social Media Manager will be in charged of all the social media post to be posted in daily basis.

Internship Position Application: (before, during & after the festival). This position is open for College students, young professionals or graduating high school seniors eager to learn various aspects of the Film Festival experience.
